oh, the media will conceal facts about the perp’s background as long as possible. That is, until his being a white supremist/conservative Republican takes hold. (note that the ‘gentle giant’ is embedded in folks’ minds, never mind the film of his bullying the small Indian shopkeeper).
My comment was in reply to the widely disseminated statement that the kid didn’t know his daddy, or that the daddy had taken off, and had nothing to do with his upbringing .. but daddy manages to reappear not to mea culpa for his part (or lack of participation) in the kid’s upbringing that led to his barbarism, but to complain that he’d gotten his hands on too many guns!
