What else can he do? The information is already out there. We don't know how far along in the process he went or why he was turned down. He could have flunked a background investigation. We do know that the SS considered the information to be "embarrassing."

What was embarrassing was Chaffetz’ Oversight committee investigation of the Secret Service. Payback as plain as day....in the same category as IRS harassment of Tea Party organizations. It sickens me. This government has been attacking US, it’s citizens. I’m pissed, real bad.
Chaffetz conservative rating is 82? That’s encouraging!
My sister saw the interview on FOX, too.
She said Chaffetz said he would bring together the centrists and the “right wing” or the “extreme right wing.”
Anytime someone uses the term “right wing,” they are usually a liberal, so it suprises me that someone with a conservative rating of 82 would use that offensive term.

Everything I have heard about Chaffetz had been good.
The fact that the MSM is hyping how he was turned down for the secret service is enough for me. They want to create the impression that he can’t be trusted, but also forget that Obama probably wouldn’t have made it anywhere near them if he was really vetted.
