Many had farms and or law practices. Farms have hands who get paid and business expenses to manage and firms have employees (payroll) to manage.
I’ll be watching her video. Trying to see if she’s going to be shown in my neck of the woods, on any of our channels.

I’m heard him say something about being a moderate while I was channel surfing and eating pancakes.
My ears pricked up when he said something about being a balance as opposed to someone who is right wing, or words to that effect.
Please tell me I didn’t hear it right....I would like to be proven wrong.

I fear the House is even more messed up than we thought.
The fact that Chaffetz was given a committee chairmanship by Boehner shows me where he stands on the political spectrum. I wonder what the Secret Service has on him beyond the fact that he was turned down by them.

I don't buy that at all. Only MANAGING partners at law firms make payroll. Partners and Employees don't. You need to go back decades and decades to find a farmer who became president. That was the time where farms were mostly small family enterprises, with no payrolls.

Chaffetz Liberty Score (conservativeness) is 82. Boehner’s is around 36 > 42, iirc. I suspect Chaffetz was playing up his moderate credentials to comfort more of the squishes.

This is the second time now I've heard this. What does it mean? Did he apply for a Secret Service position and was declined, or applied for protection and was denied?

I strongly support those who can make a payroll. I’ve continuously worked for one for 50 years.
That said, name a President who has ever done that, besides George Bush.

So, I posted that information. A few OWNED their own law firms....so, they did make payroll.
The last farmers/ranchers were Harry Truman (’40’s) and W.
(Not “decades and decades” ago. A dying occupation, I will say :)
