MOSCOW, September 29, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) – In 2013, Russia passed an amendment to the country's Child Protection Law against "propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations to minors," which also safeguards children from being adopted by homosexuals. Western governments, led by the United States, condemned the law, which has as its purpose "Protecting Children from Information Advocating for a Denial of Traditional Family Values," as hateful, bigoted, and out of step with modern societies.

Growing up during the Cold War I never thought I’d be on Russia’s side myself! The world has really been flipped upside down.

Both of GA's Repub Senators voted to fund the baby-killer org. I won't vote for either of them but I won't vote for any Democrat either. I guess I'll just stay home and pray that every one of the Repubs who voted for funding bill will be defeated by a pro-life Repub in the next elections.

Any Senator or representative who votes to fund the murder of a million + pre-birth children every year will never get a dime of my money unless they send hired murderers to kill me and take it out of my pocket.

Apple is reportedly facing an investigation for “illegally promoting” homosexuality in Russia, local media says.

Officials in Russia’s Kirov region launched an administrative case after a local attorney, Yaroslav Mikhailov, complained that Apple was violating the law, news portal Gazeta.ru reports.

From the Russian link, it says, “If the bureau confirms suspicions of police officers about gay propaganda, according to article 6.21 Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offences the Apple company will have to pay a penalty at the rate from 800 thousand to 1 million rubles or the company is threatened by a full suspension of activity in all territory of Russia.”

"Who would have ever thought that an ex KGB agent would act more sanely and competently than an American president"

Putin is no great standard bearer of morality. He is however, keenly aware of the corrosive, destabilizing effects of immorality upon a society, which is precisely why the KGB cultivated, encouraged, financed and fanned the flames of the gay rights movement in western countries throughout the cold war.

True. Putin’s approach might be influenced by the fact that he is Russian Orthodox. I think we can safely say that Putin is neither a muslim nor a muslim sympathizer.

Looks like I posted #22 to the wrong thread. I had been reading how the repub Senators betrayed their constituents by voting to fund the murderers of a million plus babies for another year, and I guess I still had that outrage on my mind when I posted on this thread.

And now he is trying to keep his chickens from coming home to roost. Maybe he would do it differently if he could go back, but he can’t He can though repent before Almighty God and do all he can to make up for past sins.

Look at it without emotion. you have one side calling good evil and one calling evil good. And you have one group of people condemning those that are in support of good against evil.

In the end, thats all that matters. By their fruits will you know them. And FR sure has a lot of ‘fruits’ lately.

Agreed. That’s what I was taught when I was young. My parents said that those people were mentally ill.

I don’t know of anything I agree with Obama on. However there are a few things I agree with Putin on.

A “mental illness” is what causes one to make a choice, not a birth defect. These people want us to think that it is not their choice but that they “were born that way.” I can’t and will not ever agree with them.

I’m not convinced Putin is an especially moral guy. But he is aware that when homosexuality is introduced into a culture, the strength of the country or organization diminishes. He wants a strong Russia so they can prevail whenever possible. A homosexual in the mix becomes the lowest common denominator and then everyone suffers.

If an ex KGB agent knows anything, he knows the power of propaganda. I applaud him for taking that stand. It will make his country stronger in the long run.

But you trust and like McCain, Carly, and Obama?

How are those names relevant to the discussion? What did I say that implied that, in fact it implied just the opposite.
