Last week, TV host Stephen Colbert took aim at those who oppose same-sex marriage and believe that it will open the door to all kinds of other marital arrangements.
To the delight of his TV audience, and utilizing his comedic gifts, he mocked Rep. Steve King and Dr. Ben Carson before getting to the heart of his presentation: Stephen Colberts All-Inclusive Wedding Cake Toppers.
What makes this so ironic, though, is that the very arguments he raised actually prove that the slippery slope argument is true.
Watch this 9-minute video where I have some fun with Stephen Colbert and thank him for proving our point.
Off topic, but, why are all comedians liberal?
When it comes to making fun of politicians, presidents, or jokes about social issues, the comedians make fun of conservatives/Republicans, never make fun of Obama or other Democrats, and make fun of those opposed to the liberal view of issues, such as homosexual marriage or global warming.
I would offer the example of Dennis Miller as a comedian who is NOT liberal. He’s funny as Hell and isn’t out to skewer conservatives with every breath he takes.
They're extremely organized, we're disorganized.
If a Liberal comes under attack, there will be thousands to come to his aid, including Liberal leadership, politicians, etc. If you're a Conservative and come under attack, nobody is coming to save you.
I could go on.
That's why comedians and celebrities are Liberal. They'd be stupid not to be.
The First Family is a comedy album recorded on October 22, 1962, as a good-natured parody of President John F. Kennedy, both as Commander-in-Chief and as a member of a large, well-known political family. (snip)James Hagerty, a top executive for ABC-Paramount Records and President Dwight D. Eisenhowers former press secretary, said the proposed album would be “degrading to the presidency” and proclaimed that “every Communist country in the world would love this record.”
The 9 minute video sucks......................
Another comedian who is funny as all get-out and a conservative is Brad Stine.
Because those are the ones the liberal entertainment establishment will give jobs to.
Ever hear of Jeff Dunham?
No not familiar with him. is he not knee jerk liberal in his comedy?
***You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.***
***Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.***
agreed, it does
All comedians are not liberal. The funniest people I know are logical. There is truth in humor. It’s why I don’t watch these shows. They are most often not honest. When Fallon made fun with Trump in the Mirror it was funny because it’s true. It was yyuge and fantastic!
All comedians who have jobs in TV are liberal. That’s because, well, isn’t it obvious
People put way to much reverence in media and Hollywood culture. They’re just in it for the money, not to raise cultural standards
Kennedy is having a working lunch meeting with world leaders, taking orders from each.
"Mr. Castro?"
"I'll have a cheeekon sandwich...with a LIVE cheeekon!" (at the time, Castro was known as a jungle fighter, living a very primitive existence)
"Mr. Chiang Kai-shek?"
"Turkey on rye." (IIRC)
"Would you like a little Mayo with that?"
"Please, not to mention that name! (Mao)
"Gen. de Gaulle?"
"I'll have pheasant under glass."
Gen. de Gaulle, this is a working lunch, we're having sandwiches."
"Then I'll have a Pheasant under glass SANDWICH!"
The other part counts too
“why are all comedians liberal?”
Discussion here (especially in the comments sections):

Find out why so many comedians are from urban or from large metropolitan areas and you'll have your answer.
I guess it's because that's where the people are and if you live there, you're bound to have big city attitudes which nowadays are pretty liberal. If you could make a living as a comedian in rural areas, comedians would have a different point of view.
Also, a lot of comedians are unhappy people who spend their time getting booed in smoky, noisy clubs by unpleasant people. After their sets, they sit around and complain about their lives. Usually, there's somebody there who's more cynical and "knowing" than the others and they gravitate to his (or her) point of view, which is usually on the left.
I do notice, though, that there are apolitical or conservative comedians. You may catch them on Red Eye. They tend to keep a low profile.
And "conservative" is a relative term. Jim Gaffigan is pretty "conservative" in some ways (religious family, five young kids), but I doubt he's a Ted Cruz fan.
I’m so old I get all those jokes! It’s interesting - we were expected to know the personalities and to be informed.
