Here’s another area where the Republican controlled Congress should be putting the hammer down - they should insist the 2A be third rail of politics.
Enough of us know history and know full well what’s going on here.
One would think the Republicans would want to do SOMETHING right for America.
Unfortunately, those Republicans feel they have as much to gain with gun control as barry and the democrats do.
This is why they’re not stopping ANYTHING. This regime does. They are all together in this. They only play act the fighting so we think we have an advocate party.
The Republicans are like step-children; they will do ANYTHING for the democrats coz they want to be included in the rewards too.
Along with “Sanctuary Cities”, “Gun Free Zones” should be abolished and outlawed everywhere.
The use, care, feeding and grooming of firearms should be taught in ALL schools, just as drivers’ education now is. And certainly this should be given WAY more priority than “sensitivity training” for gender roles.
But then I am not in charge of dictating the school curriculum. Those who are, should be charged with reckless endangerment of our youth for what garbage the kids are now getting.
“...Republicans would want to do SOMETHING right for America.” Yeah, you would think. Kinda like a lot of folks thought last (s)election winning control of both houses would be great. Sure hasn’t worked out well. I hear that the demonkkkrats are calling for voters to support only can’tidates who want stricter violations of the 2nd amendment. I say conservatives pony up and only support those that consider the 2nd to written in stone and protected from govt infringements. If ‘they’ want to make that the main focus and ignore the economy, isis/isil/is/, syria, the russkies etc., it should be at their peril.
Remember, the soon-to-be-former Speaker of the House said recently that his primary responsibility was to the institution of the House of Representatives.
Not to the Constitution, not to the people of America, but the institution of the House.
The GOP has become just the other side of the Uniparty coin.
