The wifey is heavy into the natural/homeopathic types of stuff, and based on her use, she uses (ingests) coconut oil, but does not use shay butter in any way. I do not question. :-)
Shay butter is not eaten, it is put on the skin. I have successfully faded age spots on the backs of my hands by 60 to 80% in a few months time.
