What is interesting is that as I read the bible more and more, I feel sad for these people, but I understand the brevity of life compared to eternity. And I’m not sad for the ones slain, for to live is Christ and to die is gain. Rather, I am sad for the loved ones they left behind.

But the bottom line is that to us, some sins are worse than others, but to God, sin is sin. Ted Bundy claimed to have found the Lord before he was executed. I believe that if he was telling the truth that he is, in fact, saved. And those he murdered and even their families, when each of them who is saved dies, will thank God for another saved person, (Bundy).

Have you ever seen the movie, “The five people you meet in heaven”? I highly recommend it. Events like yesterday are what try people’s ability to forgive.
