One of the most hotly debated issues among rank-and-file educators this week is whether Clinton deserves their support. Many are saying no — or at least, not yet — and calling upon their state leaders to resist a move by the president of the union representing 3 million teachers to endorse Clinton.

They are deeply bitter about President Obama's education policies and fear Clinton would stay on the same path, which is championed by some of her ultra-wealthy friends and supporters, particularly Los Angeles philanthropist Eli Broad.

This is a big deal. Public school teachers are uniformly Hillary clones.

Coming from the LA Times you know this is much more significant than just "some rank and file" teachers.

It's not a matter of enjoyment, but obedience.

There are many teachers who are not happy with the lock step endorsement of their unions to Democrats. Just look at how many left the union in Wisconsin as soon as they had the chance. I assure you a large percentage of those that left are Republican and Conservative Independents.

particularly Los Angeles philanthropist Eli Broad.

Here's a tid bit, you can decide whether it's interesting or not.

Ashley, on the T.V. show, "Hardcore Pawn" is the daughter-in-law of Eli Broad, Eli Broad is a leftist multi-gazillionaire.

Ashley and her brother Seth are always fighting over who gets control of the pawn shop, when Ashley and her husband, Doctor Broad, could probably buy 100 pawn shops just like it, if they wanted to.
