McCarthy is an Amnesty Pimp, too. Just say no.
Trump keeps hitting the right notes.
No to McCarthy.
I see absolutely nothing but “Establishment GOP” written all over him. Move on...nothing to see here.
Anyone can be speaker. Bring back NEWT!!
I would like to see someone thats very tough and that can NEGOTIATE with the Democrats...” Donald Trump
I like this Trump. He’s not calling McCarthy names or dismissing him as a loser. He’s being more intelligent in his criticism. ..showing there’s more to him than bombast.
This is going to be a YUGELY more effective tactic if he plans on picking up more voters, which I believe he does..
Mark Levin was right when he said McCarthy was Cantor with 10 less IQ points. He’s Boehner mini me.
Who, Don?
I assume Trump knows that the crux is not the Speaker but whom he speaks for.
A fourth of the Republicans in the House, and they are typically more senior ones, nearly always want what the Dems want. Over half of them usually want the same.
I know anyone can be speaker....how about me?
I’m very opinioated, blunt, can be great at telling someone off, will tell the press exactly what I think of what ever and whom ever...and have had enough experiences in life, that I could bang that gavel right on top of someone’s head....
lolol
Jefferson Sessions as Vice President
Department of State, (return INS.) Donald Rumsfeld

Department of Health and Human Services (include the VA function.) Dr. Ben Carson
Department of Labor and Commerce ELIMINATE
Department of Homeland Security ELIMINATE
Department of Education ELIMINATE as proposed by The Donald, 9/23/25 at a Columbia, SC Town Hall with Sen. Tim Scott.
Department of Energy ELIMINATE
Department of Housing and Urban Development ELIMINATE
Department of Veterans Affairs - ELIMINATE
Department of Agriculture ELIMINATE
Department of Transportation - ELIMINATE
This proposed model has the President directly managing seven subordinates which is optimal.
In non-cabinet level jobs
Sheriff Clarke should be FBI Director
Michelle Bachman as IRS Commissioner under Secretary Carl Icahn in Treasury
Admiral James A. Ace Lyons as Undersecretary of War - Navy Branch.
LTC Allen West as Undersecretary of War Army Branch.
Lynnette Diamond Hardaway and Rochelle Silk Richardson would be great as President Trumps Co-Press Secretaries.
In Congress lets have Trey Gowdy as Speaker of the House,
and Ted Cruz as Senate Majority Leader.
Trump seems to be more involved in the Political battles than any GOP Presidential candidate in memory.
Exactly, I totally agree.
You can’t be throwing bombs all the time
Well, from my state, Matt Salmon or Trent Franks could do a great job as speaker.
What about from the other states; what say you? Maybe we can get up a consensus FReeper candidate. Worth a try.
Attorney General - Mark Levin
Since there are only a few dozen conservatives in the House, there won’t be a conservative Speaker. Best that can be hoped for is one that doesn’t actively hate conservatives.
GOP House leadership team is McCarthy, Scalise, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, and Luke Messer. Probable best hope is least worse option from that group.
Ping for later
I have wondered if his combativeness was as much strategy as anything.
He reacted fast and hard to negative characterizations...got lots of free publicity and established himself as the alpha big dog in the group. Most learned their lesson and are now careful about what they say. The interview with Pelley on CBS was a good political credential building exercise - whether Pelley intended that or not.
Result is now that he has earned the respect he can afford to tone it down. We’ve never seen anything like this before as far as I know..and never will again.
