I know, and I take it with a grain of salt; however, the Vatican DID release a statement saying that the Holy Father's ONLY private audience was with a former student and that he simply met Kim Davis. The statement from the Vatican went on to say, "The pope did not enter into the details of the situation of Mrs. Davis and his meeting with her should not be considered a form of support of her position in all of its particular and complex aspects."
