GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has canceled his appearance at a Q&A session with the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce scheduled for next Thursday, the chamber said.
USHCC spokesman Ammar Campa-Najjar said Friday Trump withdrew his participation in the session that has featured three other presidential candidates from both parties and will host a fourth on Tuesday, because Trump was concerned he would be "put on trial" and was unwilling to abide by terms and conditions of the candidate series.
Michael Cohen, an attorney and adviser to Trump, was not immediately available for comment when contacted by NBC News.
In a statement, the chamber said it refused to change the format of the Q&A session, show favoritism, exclude any issues or topics or "grant immunity from objective scrutiny of his policies."
The chamber said Trump would not have been treated differently than other candidates that have done the sessions or spoken to the chamber's members.

Trump smelled a set up
That’s ok Yeb can go prattle to them in Mexican
Smart.
but, but, but . . . he has “thousands of hispanics”. hispanics love him. he’s the jobs guy.
Yep. Not gonna waste time on setups.
He probably does. But you won’t find them among the La Raza crowd.
Why in the Hell should Trump ever talk to an Admitted RACIST Organization?? Their Name demonstrates racism in spades!
“Trump smelled a set up”
Yep. It’s called ‘street smarts’ where I come from.
It must be his many years of doing deals with cheap, cut-throat politicians that has taught him his street smarts...but he has them and uses them with facility.
if he is so street smart, why did he accept the invitation in the first place?
Skills of good leaders
Ability to hire the right people.
Ability to recognize a trap.
Because only a fool categorically rules out talking to anyone. Fiorina comes to mind.
Why should he bother? Skipping that forum is not going to hurt him.
Why shouldn’t Trump be able to handle any questions or accusations thrown at them?
He doesn’t need to. He won’t win any support with these people. Why give them gotcha sound bites. Focus on working taxpayers. Not those on the government teet.
of course. it was a brilliant strategic move on wednesday, and a brazen, cowardly trap on friday.
gotcha.
As one learns more one adapts plans accordingly.
To not do so, or to not comprehend that, is to be stupid.
