I’m sure these type of questions need to be responded to carefully, and perhaps there would be a place in Trump’s administration for Carson, Cruz, etc. That being said, I hope Trump appoints capable people and doesn’t do the usual ‘everyone get a prize’ kind of nominating we have seen.

As I have said several times in different posts, Trump, right now is playing ‘kitty claw’...he’s putting things out there for bait, let’s sit back and watch how the others bite on this...

When Trump wins the nomination, then the gloves will come off and then you will see the ‘real Trump’ and how he goes after all of what he wants....he is in this to win, and win he will...

The GOPe, RINOs, RATS, media, talking heads are really going to have their heads spinning....

That’s the time for popcorn....watch and see....

If Trump thinks Carson would be good in a his administration, then he probably would be.

I think with DT’s background, he’s well able to figure out who would be an asset to his organization.

I can assure you that Trump will hire purely on the basis of competency. It would reflect poorly on his brand to do otherwise (and his brand at that point would be President Donald Trump and the Trump Administration).

Trump derangement goes both ways.
I can't get excited about anyone after so many disappointments.

You know I can fully understand that. We all watched that so-called 'compassionate Conservative' GWB turn into just one more big spending liberal loser in the style of LBJ, the GOPe coronated John McInsane, followed by Mitt-Witt, and the fact is, many of us voted the GOP ticket because the prospect of that Kenyan sonuvabitch being in the White House was too awful to contemplate. We voted for the lesser of two evils, truth be told.

However I am encouraged by the fact that Trump has made all the right enemies, the GOPe-RINO Axis of Oafs(c), the media who has tried their damndest to torpedo Trump (and failed), and of course the 'RATS who have candidate problems of their own as the PIAPS continues her death spiral.

Perhaps the best approach to Trump is the Reagan approach:

I have stated many times ... the entire cabinet is on the platform

The only element missing is what each position is

The Democrats have nothing, not even an actual coup ... they've pretty much abdicated their position as a viable entity and have nothing left but smut slinging kindergarten tactics.

I can look past every Republican's fault(s) IF the correct president is elected and the correct office is chosen for the remaining candidates

Ben Carson f'rinstance is Surgeon General
Ted Cruz MUST be Supreme Court
Rick Santorum is religious policy czar

etc.

In a sense

A SENSE, I SAY .....

Very much like the mid 1700's, a group of like minded men are gathering in "the pub"(lic) and discussing how to correct what the original group started

Whats gonna happen is this, Trump is gonna throw out the rule book.
Carson is in, he will get a position that is best for America, may not be VP, and i suspect at least one if not several other candidates will be “hired” by Trump. Trump will dominate hugely in polls till the final “legal” election.

So this is the way i see it, all the sane intelligent useful candidates should drop out right now, no way any of them can be POTUS here, they just don’t have the numbers. They are in and will be assigned positions they are best qualifed for, same as hiring a Fortune 500 CEO.

Gone is the day of the best politician, the now and future demands skilled applicants, not friends of political friends.

And by far and wide politicians while skilled in that respect just don’t have the mindset of business. Trump and friends do.

That is a good point. In fact it reminds me that the media has outed their hate by calling Trump the worst possible thing. They have started calling him a racist.

My very own daughter, who I will someday speak to again, used that term on someone at my birthday party and blew up the whole party. The subject of said name stormed off home and the rest of us were too furious to socialize for quite a while.

I posted "he has my vote" once I heard they were calling him that. Thanks for the reminder.

Now back to my quiet rage at this country's volunteer direction away from the Lord.

Trump lovers seem to be putting an incredible amount of faith in him and his strategy. Why? When and how has he earned that faith? Every time he does something that we would excoriate other candidates for doing, his choir chimes in that it’s actually a brilliant move. Ummm ok.

So far all I’ve seen is a guy who is incapable or unwilling to make the case for why America NEEDS to be great again. All Donald has is a ball cap slogan. He can’t articulate shit.

I’ve heard folks like Levin, Hannity, and Rush say over and over again that we conservatives need to make our case, tell the story, etc, because conservatism wins every time. Reagan was excellent at doing this. Trump never makes a case FOR America or conservatism. Trump only makes the case for TRUMP, and even then it’s a sophomoric argument at best, (we will win, they are idiots, I am great).

But of course as long as he keeps throwing cream pies in the faces of Rove, and other establishment clowns, he’ll continue to get the 25% clapping seal crowd that tell us between acts that he actually has a strategy.

Ask yourself one thing. If he’s such a threat to the dems, why is the media inflating the hell out of him? The libtards on morning joe are his biggest fans....that should bring you all pause.

75% of republicans want someone else...and there is good reason.

That DOES keep cropping up, doesn't it?

Thanx ... it is something I say often when in a (rare) discussion/conversation about our founders

Where did all these passionate, relatively well-to-do (no need nor fear of money and/or the lack of it), educated men come from and determine they were all on the same page ?

IMO ...

Nothing less than the influence of God

Trump is one of those ... a well to do citizen, passionately motivated to do "American" things and powerful/loud enough to gather like minded people around him

Probably not the direct influence of God ..... but I think we have His permission
