Learning disabilities take many shapes and forms yet frequently lead to the same place, have the same results: frustration, fear, and failure. While emotional issues may begin as a result of neglect, abuse, or a family history of illness, they often grow deeper as a child unsuccessfully struggles in schools ill-equipped to meet his or her specific needs because of untreated learning difficulties.

At Switzer Learning Center, our students have found a nurturing and supportive school where phrases like “You can’t", "I won’t,” and “You can’t make me” are transformed into “Please help me”, "I can!” and “I will.” They’re surrounded by teachers who understand their struggles, provide encouragement, and teach different ways to learn.
