Explaining his vote on facebook. What a great practice. They should all be encouraged to do this.
I am glad there is an alternative to McCarthy who when he first moves into office wants to get a highway bill done and re-jigger government agencies: not get rid of Obamacare or stop Iran from getting nukes.

>>House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday said if he succeeds John Boehner as House Speaker, as he wants to do, his priority will be the highway funding bill and transforming the federal government.
“We’re going to make sure we get the highway bill done,” McCarthy told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “We’re going to make sure that we transform these agencies, because these agencies that that we have today — we’d never craft them in the same manner. Look at the flow chart, look at the duplication. Why don’t we go through and revamp the entire process so they work?

This bullet point wouldn't matter. "Diversity" is only diversity when it is liberal diversity <<
Having more house members of "Syrian and Palestinian descent" counts towards the liberal diversity scorecard.

Justin Amash, the Palestinian Paulistinian. How many votes for Speaker does Iran get? If it’s more than a handful, Amash has got a chance.
In 2011, when the House voted to defund Planned Parenthood, Paultard Amash voted ... Present. What a brave conservative warrior! And a couple of years ago he voted *against* the bill banning sex-selection abortion. Justin Amash is not a conservative; he’s a Paulbot. There are over 200 Republicans in the House whom I would prefer as Speaker.
BTW, Amash is more of a career politician than practically anyone else in Congress. After college and law school, he worked for his family’s business for about a year before running for the state house, and has been holding public office ever since.

Never happen. The "Good ol' boy network" is in the tank for McCarthy. I heard on Hannity yesterday that even Trey Gowdy is voting for the Boehner clone. You know, Trey Gowdy, the media whore who didn't even have the balls to show up when the vote on the Speaker's seat was taken in January. They're all a bunch of political whores.

Standing with ISRAEL is the MOST important issue!!! If you don't stand with Israel, we won't stand with you!!!!
Hi, I'm Justin Amash. I stand with HAMAS and the PLO. I hate Israel. But I also love to scream about how anti-GOP establishment and pro-Tea Party I am.
Whoops! NEVERMIND what I said earlier!

Not at all true according to his Facebook post, where he was attacked by some for defending Israel, and called a douchebag for having “caved to the Israeli lobby”.

Not going to happen. I would like to see a larger Libertarian presence in the Republican conference. I’d also like to see a Buchanan-ite presence to support national sovereignty. But that doesn’t mean I want either of those factions actually running the show.
