Chris Harper Mercer, 26, has been identified as the shooter responsible for taking the lives of at least 10 people at a community college in southwest Oregon earlier Thursday, law enforcement sources confirmed to CBS News. Law enforcement officers shot and killed Mercer in an exchange of gunfire later Thursday afternoon.

It looks like the court allowed guns on campus but they could be banned from certain buildings. At UCC, you need written permission. Didn’t we hear on today’s news that someone besides the shooter had a weapon? The school may make it difficult, but I think the courts have ruled that they cannot have a complete ban.

Chris might be his real name but at this
point I am wondering if he might have
been going by another name, maybe one
that has an Arab ring to it. And, the
authorities are using his birth name to
throw the public off temporarily. Time

after the Charleston shootings, the Justice Dept will likely fast-track a few million to pay his family.
After all, he was killed by cops, so his family deserves compensation.
