Nope. “Beta” in the 4chan universe is code for “wimp,” as opposed to alpha male. Nothing to do with the software development sense (ie “test” or unfinished) which is I think the way you’re taking it.
Right, in 4Chan-speak, a “beta uprising” would mean “beta males” getting fed up and lashing out at society.
