Hillary failed the DC bar exam, and passed the Arkansas bar exam, by her own admission. The year she failed the DC bar 817 people took it with her, and 551 passed.

This, to me, is very typical of the significant percentage of Ivy League ‘overachievers’ who are talented but not stellar. No surprise at all. As an aside, this is a perfect example of why pedigree should never be mistaken as a guarantee of ability - ever.

That said, the concept she is trying to sell, that she would have made Joan of Arc pale in comparison if she hadn’t ‘sacrificed’ herself for Bill, is absurd. Without his personality and skills in manipulating people, she may never have made it to any position of visibility. To be honest, maybe she would have achieved more that actually mattered if she remained obscure, concentrated on doing good work, and also concentrated on being ethical instead of historical.

It’s not all that unusual for a first timer to fail to pass the bar exam. It would have been more impressive if she studied more for it, and came back to passed it. She didn’t.

That is interesting to me. Most folks would want to be licensed there.

I would submit that from the Rose Law firm job forward, she was pretty much gifted with everything in life. She merely had to demand it and it was hers.
