I wonder if they are more concerned about the predictions from a few years ago to be proven false. Wasn’t last and this year when the end of the world was supposed to happen?
Wait another couple of years, and people will stop believing because the doom and gloom predictions are not coming true.

Progressive pundits increasingly envision the 2016 presidential election as a last chance, as one activist phrased it, to stop climate change catastrophe. The only "catastrophe" they're really worried about is conservatives stemming the flood of Federal money.
