Billionaire Lifts Marco Rubio, Politically and Personally
The New York Times ^ | MAY 9, 2015 | MICHAEL BARBARO and STEVE EDER

MIAMI — One day in the State Capitol in Tallahassee, Marco Rubio, the young speaker of the House, strayed from the legislative proceedings to single out a lanky, silver-haired man seated in the balcony: a billionaire auto dealer named Norman Braman.

This man, Mr. Rubio said in effusive remarks in 2008, was no ordinary billionaire, hoarding his cash or using it to pursue selfish passions.

“He’s used it,” Mr. Rubio said, “to enrich the lives of so many people whose names you will never know.” As it turned out, one of the people enriched was Mr. Rubio himself.

As Mr. Rubio has ascended in the ranks of Republican politics, Mr. Braman has emerged as a remarkable and unique patron. He has bankrolled Mr. Rubio’s campaigns. He has financed Mr. Rubio’s legislative agenda. And, at the same time, he has subsidized Mr. Rubio’s personal finances, as the rising politician and his wife grappled with heavy debt and big swings in their income.

Anyone reading this profile of Marco Rubio would never vote for him. Never made ten cents & is totally controlled!

His backer is a car dealer who owns the Eagles. Basically, got rich through corporate welfare, which is what the NFL has become.

RE: a billionaire auto dealer named Norman Braman.

OK, does Marco Rubio owe something to him now?

A Norman Braman sold the Eagles to Jeffrey Lurie a few years back. He took off with the team jet iirc.

As much as I hate Rubio for an historic betrayal of the movement which put him in the Senate, I think we should be accurate. Braman owned the Eagles between 1985 and 1996, and has largely singularly BLOCKED the construction of corporate-welfare projects, including the Miami Orange Bowl. But it’s very plain that Braman figures he owns a presidential candidate, senator, and former Speaker of the FLorida House of Representatives.

Cool deal. Mr. Rubio’s wife also worked/works for Mr. Braman.

Amnesty pimp Marco Rubio wrecked any chance he had of a political career when he schemed against the citizens with his Gang, which included Schumer and Durbin.

Betrayal of that magnitude is not forgotten.

Amnesty and a total lack of real experience is what I’ve got against Rubio.

Why do so many people consider someone whose only accomplishment is self-promotion through our rotten political system a qualification to run this country?

Rubio is adept at knocking out anointed GOPe primary candidates. (see Crist) He then becomes GOPe.

Just as the media is pushing Christi despite the new United Airlines/Port Authority scandal under his watch, the media is coordinating sabotage.

FNC has one interview with Trump and coordinate using the soundbites from the interview to attack Trump elsewhere.
