Definitely a cool car in my opinion.
“9,000 miles per ticket”
LOL!
I’m stealing that one!
The real anger should be directed at EPA and it’s dictatorial NOx rule that basically outlaws the diesel engine in an efficient high MPG tune.
From what I understand NOx isn’t a health issue - it’s a visual issue - it just causes regional haze.
It is another intrusive and sinister way for Money Grabbers/Attorneys/Politicians to reap big dollars!
The Rats are attacking fast and furious!

“Harris County on Tuesday set in motion a $100 million environmental lawsuit against Volkswagen, “
Yes they did cheat the system, but at the same time, they had the nerve to put this ad on TV during the Superbowl...

As someone mentioned on an earlier thread, you use the “at time of testing defense” and back it up with lots of testimony from German Volkswagen engineers and even the judge will be weaping by the end of the trial.
I will save VW lots of money. They can give me one of these defective cars and I won’t even ask them to replace the engine.
Lefties all are going to want something for nothing when there really is nothing wrong with the car, it just does not meet the govenment’s test standard.
A Volvo?
Isn’t that kinda...RAT?
The truck diesel guys tried that approach back in the 90s.
I assume they had at lest as good attorneys as VW.
