If radical muslims were chaining children to beds and raping them Putin would NOT excuse it as ‘cultural’...

You’d be wrong there. If are “his” Muslims Putin has no problem with their behavior.

You are pretty thick if you didn’t understand the point I was making by asking that question.

He’s not. He’s just trying to get you to defend the kenyan which is a favorite pastime of moral equivalence Putniks.

I see no difference Kabar......these terrorists move from one group to the other, they have no alligence. ...Heck Alqaida has declared war on ISIS where they were working hand in glove up until recently....changing sides for all of them is like skipping rope. Go ahead and name all the terrorist groups and who is who .....even they themselves get confused as is time and again reported ‘from the ground’.. (media be damned)

If you really want to understand the US in this just remember what the Obama administration “talkers” are saying the response is.....”We’re having further meetings with Russia”....not to mention Kerry suddenly saying THEY are going to beef up their attacks.

This is “All” coordinated with Russia and the coalitions......but the US is using all it has in order to avoid any fall out responsibility because it all has to be Russia’s fault if this goes wrong.

...”pics claiming Putin killed mostly women and children”....

Oh of course...it’s always about the woman and children isn’t it. Never mind that all these men left their wifes and children.... There hasn’t been a grand exodus of the New Syrian Army members showing up in Europe for nothing.....any wonder it’s all been men refugees????

The only people fighting in Syria are terrorists against the coalitions.....make no mistake about that.....it’s a war and people are going to die.

U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter says the Russian airstrikes in Syria appear to have targeted areas that do not include Islamic State fighters.

Carter made the comment at a Pentagon news conference, where he offered few details about the strikes but said they point out a contradiction in Russia's approach. He said the Russians should not be supporting Syrian President Bashar Assad's government, and their military moves are “doomed to fail.”

Carter also expressed disappointment that the Russians did not use formal channels to provide the U.S. with advance notice of its airstrikes.

"Israel is not threatened by a Russia-Syria-Iraq-Iran-hezbollah axis?? Are you serious? "

Absent the historical US Commitment to Israel (they don't trust or believe Obama), I suspect Israel, at least, accepts Russia's imposition of rational, state actors.

Certainly a Syrian State with full, unquestioned control of their territory is in Israel's interests.

Israel has little influence over what happens in Iraq, and less interest.

I suspect they intend to deal with Iran via other means.

Know this: If Israel decides they need to expel Russia from Syria, they could do so easily. They have 400 combat aircraft, excellent missiles, over 1,000 tanks and another 1,000 Self Propelled Artillery.

If we see Russia starting to deploy numbers that are a direct threat to Israel, I will conceded and adopt your position.

But, as it stands now, Israel could expel them at will.

Discount anything coming from the Pentagon (Carter) or Obamas “talkers”....the idea is to create a platform that will blame Russia for anything that goes wrong in this joint effort.

The areas struck in ‘Homs’ are mostly controlled by Al-Qaeda affiliate ‘Al-Nusra Front’,.... while those hit in Latakia are mostly controlled by a coalition known as the ‘Army of Conquest’, ..which includes Al-Nusra..... So the nonsense that Russia isn’t hitting terroists is false...they’re all terrorists..names mean crap at this point.

Russia will of course ramp up Assad as Russia wants Assad in power until the nation transitions to a new election to prevent an ISIS take over........the US says no deal they want Assad out of the equation.

That’s been the sticking point from the get go....Russia’s basically said enough’s enough .....time for action to settle the matter.

"The war was started by secular Syrians composed of Christians, Allewites and non-Islamic Sunnis"

Sure, 4 years ago.

These folks are non-factors now. Half of them ran to Europe, the other half are hunkered down, at best.

The marriage has caused a stir in the Russian press, prompting Kadyrov to call on journalists to stop meddling in the couple’s private lives. The scandal emerged late last month after investigative newspaper Novaya Gazeta reported that Guchigov had launched an intimidation campaign against Goylabiyeva’s parents, giving them an ultimatum to surrender their daughter to avoid “unfortunate consequences”. The journalist who reported the story has since fled Chechnya, fearing for her safety.

Nice that their press acted responsibly... that's more than can be said for ours...

Russia informed Israel in advance of its airstrikes in Syria, multiple intelligence sources have said, underlining the coordination between the two countries over the Syrian crisis, following Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's recent trip to the Kremlin to discuss Russia's massive troop buildup.

US officials have already ""confirmed"" that Russia gave them an hour's notice of the strikes, but an Israeli military source told Arutz Sheva that Israel, too, had been notified in advance, via a mechanism reached between Jerusalem and Moscow during Netanyahu's recent meeting with Putin.

That arrangement was reached after Putin acknowledged Israel's vital security interests in Syria, and agreed to coordinate his own country's efforts there with the Israeli government to avoid any accidental clashes between the two.

Ben Hoyle - Moscow
October 11 2013

Russian investigative journalists and bloggers have uncovered an army of internet trolls paid to pour invective on the Kremlin’s opponents and heap praise on President Putin.

Posing as job applicants, the reporters discovered the government hacks working at a small company called the St Petersburg Internet Research Agency. ...”

Worth bearing in mind as Putin goes into battle with ISIS.....He may be loathsome... So is Assad.....
But they’re not as loathsome as ISIS, nor are they as big a current danger to world peace.

Vladimir Putin has backed the right horse in a deeply flawed field, and deserves our support as he puts ISIS to the Russian military sword and seeks to vanquish this vile, devastating mutual enemy.

Obama’s done nothing effective to stop this war....Putins taking the lead and this with a coalition willing to get the job done. Obama’s ONLY concern is to make sure Russia is blamed and not himself.

You should think, you friggin idiot. It has a lot to do with what's going on here! Of course not all these sick SOBs are paid Russian trolls, but they still support Russia's obvious expansionist agenda. We know Russia has trolls operating on the internet, so why the heck would or should we think they wouldn't be on this large and popular political forum?
