Cruz and Trump are a tag-team. They are working together.

"Cruz and Trump are a tag-team. They are working together."

Cruz has pointedly said that is not the case.

"Citation?"

Pinging caww, who posted a quote from Ted Cruz before the Iran deal rally (should have saved it myself). Cruz said not to read anything into their joint effort because they were not working together.

He is winning much of the conservative vote. He does not appear to be a “right wing conservative.”

Maybe, I was being a bit tongue in cheek. I just figured since FR tends to be more conservative than the average Republican, they would only be for a candidate that leaned that direction. I don't believe Trump is but I seem to be in the minority around here.

I’m with you. He’s a populist. Even though some of his
views are not conservative, I will vote for him if he is the candidate.

I'm going to say it again...

PRESTON BROOKS!!!

PRESTON BROOKS!!!

PRESTON BROOKS!!!

You know, something in the last month or two recalled that name to mind, and I've been waiting ever since for some enterprising FReeper or other poster to mention him...

However, I must admit that I don't think Lindsay hitting McConnell with her purse would have quite the same effect, even *if* the two of them should chance to disagree.

(Google "Preston Brooks" and think for 30 seconds to find out why I mentioned Lindsay...)
