Gog-Magog refers to modern Turkey not Russia though. Turkey is in the region, their leader is a bit of a lunatic, so I have no doubt that modern Turkey will fulfil it’s prophecy.
Magog is mentioned in Genesis 10 as well as in Chronicles 1, Magog is mentioned alongside of his brothers Meshech, Tubal, and Gomer.
Tubal, Gomer, Togarmah, and Meshech in today’s Turkey, not Russia.
Ezekiel 38:1-3 “And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal”
So Gog = Turkey, not Russia. “Gog, the land of Magog, the chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal,”
Meshech and Tubal are in modern day Turkey, not Russia.
