So here is what the sides looks like so far. Hence why the Saudi FM is so bold.

Syria, Russia, Iran and China

vs.

Saudi Arabia, Israel and the U.S.

If comes down to this expect NATO to step in and possibly launching operations in Ukraine to keep Russia distracted.

Enter the Wild Card.

The people in the West want ISIS gone just like Syria.

The best move the U.S. can do right now is stay out. We can produce our own oil and buy from Canada and Mexico. We do not need Saudi Arabia.

Ditto Israel.

Let Saudi Arabia fight this out on their own.

The US is involved in Saudi affairs because of ARAMCO.

Exactly — Israel and the USA should sit it out. The Saudis expect their “blue-eyed slaves” to fight and die for them. To hades with them — let them get slaughtered by the Iranis

I agree. We should have overtaken the Saudis in 2001.

We had excellent reasons to.

Now, when Russia, Iran and China converge in Syria, there will be many prizes for the taking.

SA is just one of them.

Under Obama, you can bet he will do nothing to confront Putin, who I suspect is his real boss anyhow.
