My hope is that as President, Trump will use his experience making deals to get much of what he wants passed through Congress. If anyone is capable of thinking creatively in this regard, it’s Trump, a master at the art of persuasion.
The ability to size up what motivates the various members of Congress that he’ll be dealing with, combined with a strategy of carrot and stick incentives to get them to vote his way may turn out to be very effective in getting his agenda through. The courts are a different matter, and may be a harder nut to crack.
One thing’s for sure. It will be interesting to watch.
Bill Clinton has been fact free, not to mention morally challenged, since he was 6. Probably sooner.
