Ahh, yes, the famous Andrew Rosenthal who helped The Bent One get elected over GHW Bush, by lying about how the senior Bush was amazed by electronic supermarket scanners, thus portraying Bush as an out of touch elitist. Rosenthal’s lie went viral at the time, and assuredly influenced the outcome of that election.
There was no wide spread internet, no Twitter, No Facebook, not even Drudge when Bush-41 ran and lost to B.J. Clinton. So how did it go viral?
