I see Faux News is pushing for his Speakership and you know what, I think he will be just the same Speaker as Boner and you know what, he said he trained some colleagues to enter the Senate and you know what that might make him worse the Boner.

Do you know that?

Well. It appears no one here likes him. He must be doing something right then.

McCarthy's very close friend, Mrs. Renee Ellmers, must be proud.

McCarthy is another RINO slime, with a pretty skeleton in his closet.

I just watched McCarthy interviewed on Fox. I don’t know where he stands on everything, but he doesn’t seem to hate conservatives like Boehner. He was talking about how too many GOP members only care about the institutions of power and not actually accomplishing anything, so at least he seems to have a clue, which is more than Boehner. He would certainly be a better “face” for the party than the orange crybaby. If he is elected I’d be willing to give him a chance and see what he does.

Perhaps the Republicans could just vote for Pelosi again. We could use a devout Catholic in that office.

Didn’t McCarthy design the knee pads that Bonehead uses when he sees the President?

Mark Levin is spot on about McCarthy. He’s Cantor with 10 less IQ points. Same deal different day.

Conservatives have an opening, if they don’t blow it and settle for/compromise/give in.

McCarthy will promise them the world to ge their votes.

See, I got exactly the opposite reaction to him. He talked in platitudes and vague pronouncements. He wants to “unite.” He wants to “change the culture” in Washington. He wants everyone “ to be part of the process.” He’s a politician, a finger-to-the-wind self-serving power broker who didn’t seem to have a single principle to stand on. He’s a younger, alcohol-deficient, smoother Boehner.

He wants everyone “ to be part of the process.”

Well, I compare that to Boehner removing conservatives from key committees. I see it an olive branch to them. I don't see the point of attacking him before he has done anything. Plenty of time for that later. Of course is someone better has a chance of winning that would be great.

Is a California Republican any more useful than a conservative Democrat?

It depends. Congressman Tom McClintock is one of the best in congress. Now he would be an awesome speaker.
