I suspect people will find religion by the millions with these coming times not because they believe but because they want to pray for a new Mercedes Benz as Janice Joplin used to say.

This is why people will look to religion.
Some will. They will take the Mark of the Beast. And be cast into the Lake of Fire forever. Revelation chapter 14 (for lurker’s reference).
Some will realize during the Tribulation that the 666 thing wasn’t just some old fable. They will pay with their lives.
And live forever for refusing the Mark of the Beast.
