Hillary Clinton Says She Had Nothing To Do With Private Email Server It wasn't me, really. Headshot of Ali Watkins Ali Watkins Reporter, The Huffington Post

WASHINGTON -- Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton on Sunday further addressed the controversy over her use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state, insisting she had nothing to do with setting up the server, choosing the server, transitioning to the server, turning over emails from the server or pretty much doing anything other than continuing to send emails.

"I wasn't that focused on my email account, to be clear here," Clinton told Chuck Todd on NBC’s "Meet The Press."

"[The server] was already there. It had been there for years. It is the system that my husband's personal office used when he got out of the White House. And so it was sitting there in the basement. It was not any trouble at all," Clinton said.

"I can't control the technical aspects of it. I'm not by any means a technical expert. I relied on people who were."

As for the notion that Clinton didn’t turn over all relevant emails stored on the server to the State Department, she said she didn’t have anything to do with that, either.

Flat out denial indicates she has only one more option, confess with a plea.

>> The candidate also continued to obfuscate <<

Wow! This quote is the HuffPo speaking!

I’d say they’re not exactly pulling their punches here.

In fact, I gotta think that when they use this kind of dynamite language, it tends to indicate that they’re now fully on-board with the far left’s “Dump Hillary” operation.

>> She probably would have been nominated by the Dems if it weren’t for the private server <<

Yep, and we probably wouldn’t have learned about the server if it weren’t for Trey Gowdy’s dogged determination to uncover Benghazi-related material.

Moreover, Trey Gowdy wouldn’t have undertaken that task if the Speaker hadn’t made him chairman of the Benghazi Select Committee.

In other words, sometimes God works in mysterious ways?

Sorry hil,

The train to “plausible deniability” left the station several months ago, leaving you on the platform.

Important questions. You’ve now admitted that you didn’t participate in the selection of emails to delete. Instead, a lawyer, to whom you’re a client, made the decisions. Does that lawyer have federal clearance to see any of those emails? It’s also been reported that there were emails being held by hil’s lawyer that were on a thumb drive. Were they stored properly, as per United States requirements for storing classified data?

Another question, who made the decision to use this server?

Another question, why all the reversals of statements? At first the server was at your home, then later is was located at an ISP. If the server was moved, how was the data migrated? And was the 2nd location cleared for security?

I realize that there are many our there who will vote for hil’s vagina, and others who believe she “deserves” the office for putting up with Bill for all those years. And then there are all the useful idiots who will simply vote for anyone with a ‘D’ after their name.

And on the other side, it appears that there are so many who want to have someone for whom to vote that AREN’T of the political class, that they’re willing to deliver their precious vote without considering the CHARACTER of the person.

I am really amazed at just how far the USA has fallen. It’s happened a little at a time, hardly noticeable, until we look around and say, “what the hell happened?” Like the Greek and Roman empires, they rotten from within. I wish there was a real “Galt’s Gulch” to which I could escape. I’m just thankful I have no children, though I feel bad for my your nieces, nephews, and cousins who never had a chance to grow up in the Republic I remember, and will live in the criminal oligarchy that is well on its way here.

Mark

The Clintons don’t go to jail but those around them do. Huma and Cheryl Mills may be about to see the undercarriage of Hillary’s bus. Huma should start planning an extended visit to her home country or begin looking for a full time nanny for baby Weiner.

Yep. Was there also something with a FOIA request? It seems like it has been going on for so long, I lose track how it started.

I think Biden can win if the regime indicts Hillary.
And crossover Dems can push Bush to the R nomination.

As a bonus, the regime can extort a $100 million bribe from the Clintons for a POTUS pardon.

Hillary is trying to throw Huma, Cheryl Mills and her lawyer under the bus. I assume with a promise of a presidential pardon.

If I were Huma, Mills, or David Kendall I would be thinking, President Cruz or Trump or Carson will have the justice department come down on my ass like a pit bull with and attitude problem. I think it is time to play Lets Make a Deal.”
