McConnell might as well follow Boehner out the door, because with his record as majority ‘leader’, he will cause the Pubbies to lose the Senate in 2016.
He has done NOTHING that he promised he would do during his reelection. But at every opportunity, he has compromised and had secret deals with Obama. Instead of being the leader of the opposition, he is the leader of the compromises.
If the Senate can get a new leader with a backbone, they might be able to retain the Senate in 2016. Might.

They don't really *DO* much of anything. Since coming to power in Congress, they've been Obama's Doormen, holding it open for him whenever he's in the mood to cross the threshold and step on the Constitution. Any "opposition" has been purely for show - a Kabuki Theater for flyover country.

Hillary went into Libya to kill Qadaffi and steal his wealth.
She convinced the Republican leaders of the Senate and House that going into Libya was a good thing for the U.S. That makes these Republican leaders stupid, but also in the way of bringing Hillary to justice.
She will claim, “Yeah, but come after me and I’ll take down the Republican leaders, too!”
She’s losing that threat.
One of Bill Clinton’s Chinese connection was arrested yesterday.
I haven’t decided whether Obama was in on this with Hillary, or if he was just duped, too.
If he was duped, I suspect he’ll want Hillary’s hide.
