The US Army has issued a new shoulder patch for the slightly more than 3,000 troops who President Obama has decided he can spare to fight the world’s most dangerous Jihadist entity, the Islamic State, which the US federal government still insists on referring to as “ISIL,” despite the fact that there are now Jihadi groups from West Africa to the Philippines that have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State.
Nothing illustrates better the institutional denial that we are saddled with as a nation in our fight to save Western civilization than our federal counter terror bureaucracy’s slavish attitude toward outmoded views on the threat from Jihad…except maybe the new shoulder patch that is the subject of this post. They should have taken some inspiration from Virginia’s state seal. A gal with a boob hanging out, her foot on the body of a dead perp. Standing with a spear and sword that have already done the job. I love it.

The patch features crossed scimitars, three stars, and a palm wreath. According to USA Today, the three stars denote the US land, air, and sea forces involved in the fight against ISIS.
The palm wreath is meant to symbolize honor, while the crossed swords evoke the twin goals of the ongoing operations: the defeat of ISIS and the restoration of stability in the region.
ISIL stands for “Islamic State in the Levant.”
Obama insists on this name, even though he denies that it’s “Islamic.”
What is really demonic about it is that the “L” stands for “the Levant.” And “the Levant” is ISRAEL.
Now that is one patch that I’m sure many soldiers would not want to “proudly” wear on the right shoulder of their uniforms.
Just more proof that Obama and his ilk actually support extremist islam.
Obama was raised up by Western civilization hating communists, and had his formative education in an islamic country’s madrasas.
What I find funny, in an ironic way, is all of this could have (and probably already was) known by the media who foisted this disaster upon the USA, fully well knowing that he was going to ally himself with the enemies of the USA, those who in many cases, have sworn to destroy the USA, while alienating our allies. I guess those in the media really don’t care about what they report, just that they’re allowed to report something.

Putin says he wants to fight ISIS, so should we give him a patch? Assad is fighting ISIS, give him a patch too?

Using Muslim terminology.
Levant is the eastern med. At its narrowest definition its Israel, Lebanon, and Syria. Many people include Jordan, southern Turkey, and the Sinai as well.
The point is: It INCLUDES Israel, and Obama is constantly sending out the signal that he WANTS ISIS to overrun Israel.
If there is one Jew alive in Israel on January 20, 2017, Obama will feel he has failed.
