I saw that reference too but didn’t look him up....but no surprise there.
I’m “friends” on FB with a priest who heard my - ahem - first Confession when I converted and is now a campus minister in No VA. He was excited to post these two referenced “Catholics” alongwith Lincoln and King...
All I could think is that if he follows the Pope and uses these individuals as guides in ministering to the college kids, he’s running the risk of skewing the Church’s that will take along time to heal.
To paraphrase John Paul II, “hypocrisy is the root of atheism....”
