Beck was a Cruz guy but then about a week ago suggested Rubio/Fiorina ticket would be great. He did some kind of thing on his black board as well and I believe he put it up on one of his sites. This is quite interesting about the PAC. I also strongly suspect he coordinates with Megyn Kelly on agendas because on twitter, just when she comes on, his site “the blaze” sends out a tweet on the same subject she is talking about.

This particular PAC apparently (and I’m guessing here) used Ted Cruz’ name to raise funds but then turned around and used those funds for Carly Fiorina.

You seem to be having difficulty understanding the basic truth that Ted Cruz has nothing to do with this PAC and is, in fact, prohibited by law from being involved with it. So yes, the PAC is NOT “Cruz’s PAC”.

Right, it's Carly's PAC but because it has Ted Cruz's name on it Only Carly can legally communicate with the Cruz PAC which is really Carly's PAC...Not Cruz's PAC

Got it.

So the candidates are not aware how much money is in or not in there pro-PACs and they have no idea their pro-PACs are covertly manipulating the candidates? They have no idea their alleged pro-PACs are funding Fiorina's campaign with big league cash which was supposed to for Cruz? That is down right amazing.☺

As someone who has worked for a PAC, let me pipe in here:

The transfer is reported on the FEC “Report of Receipts and Disbursement.” The Cruz PAC put the $500,000 transfer under “Other Disbursements,” but gave no other note as to the purpose of the disbursement. In other words, they notified the FEC that they made the payment, but said, “We’re not telling you why.”

Now, here’s the thing: They did not put it under “Contributions to
Federal Candidates/Committees and Other Political Committees,” or “Independent Expenditures.” In other words, they are not reporting it as a political donation. But CarlyPAC *is* reporting it as a contribution. Contradiction? No, the FEC doesn’t even have a section for payment for services rendered. Any revenue is “contribution.”

Presuming everyone is acting in good faith (simply because this is all out in the open),
Cruz’ PAC didn’t see it as a political contribution, but as payment for something they considered none of the FEC’s business.
CarlyPAC saw it as revenue and simply reported it as such.
FEC saw an apparent contradiction, and wanted to make sure that (in their eyes) Cruz’ PAC shouldn’t have reported it as a political contribution.

So what was it for? Opposition research? CarlyPAC isn’t reporting spending that kind of money on Opp research... at least not as of their July 1 FEC statement. But it could be payment for something in the future.

Is there a reason Cruz would politically support CarlyPAC? Yes. That attack on Planned Parenthood was so much more effective coming from a woman, and I’m sure Cruz is very happy to see social issues come into the debate. But if it was political support, the PAC avoided telling the FEC that.

This big league “donation” to Fiorina from this pro-Cruz PAC was reported to have occurred way back in July.

This seems to create all kinds of real serious questions.

Could I get a link to that? Thanks!

Jane, what disturbs me more is that David Barton is also chairman of Glenn Beck’s Charity - and Glenn Beck hates Donald Trump with a passion. Cruz also went to the border with Beck to distribute soccer balls and teddy bears. That was the beginning of my disfavor with him -Cruz is a sitting Senator from Texas and could visit the border any time he wanted - he didn’t have to support what Beck was doing. This is something a lot of his supporters overlook.

Oh boy....I hope everything is going to be ok for Cruz!!!

Everyone has to remember, by law the candidates have nothing to do with these PACs.

I trust that Cruz is following the law.

Not sure about the PAC and if it broke the law it should be hammered.

I can see it being “persuaded” by Glen Beck working with Mercury to boost Carly above Trump. Can see it happening.

I am no fan of Carly, but the smells like a dead fish rotting from the head. That is Obsma or one of his minions.

Of course. The smear is good enough for Obola.

Meanwhile, no investigation into Fast and Furious, the IRS, Hitlery, etc.

He has nothing to do with the PAC.
..................................................................

HORSESHIT!
The campaign has to know how much money they need to spend, how much is available, where and who it’s going to come from and how they’re going to get it.

Oh, and the givers, AKA Politica Action Committees are just doing it because they love Ted and Heidi so much and will never ask for anything in return.< /sarcasm>

The blind ignorance, lies and deceit disguised as devotion is sickening.
***************************************************************************************************

There is blind ignorance here...but it’s not coming from my direction. Ask Alan West how much involvement he had in the numerous “PACs” set up which solicited money using his name but then spent almost all the money on salaries and “expenses” of the good folks who established the PACs but next to nothing actually supporting Alan West.

Well still, if the PAC gets socked (what rule did it break, though?) that means less support for Cruz.

This all could be the reason for his vote for the Corker bill and TPA support.

Money=corruption. The root of all evil, especially in politics. Let us hope Trump is the 2X4 between the eyes that neutralizes at least some of this country destroying corruption. I fully support the First Amendment, but our politics has become nothing but who can get the biggest pile of money.

“Face treatments?”

Do you mean a paper sack with eye holes cut out and a slit for the mouth?

That’s the only thing that would improve her “scary” looks...and it would not scare children any longer.

Why not? Better question: Why do we have a Federal Elections Commission? A free people don’t need central planners.
