Zuckerberg and his ilk buy “the people’s representatives”, those fine public servants, like they buy a new car, just another tool to increase their collective power and status. The people are getting more and more fed up, we are aching for real leadership, and unfortunately that ache is going to assuaged one day by someone who will inflict pain we never imagined possible.
