Oh, I know what them boys are planning: instant assessment of interviewees for employment, clearances to buy firearms, and many, many more fun uses to classify us as "unfit".
My exact thought when I read the headline. This is a fast track to justify the taking away of our 2A rights!

That's the whole reason for the "Universal Background Checks": once the Left pulls that one off, they will start tightening the net. Fairly soon, they will make it impossible for almost all of us to get cleared to buy - or possess - firearms.
Why do you think that is such a strongly-supported goal?
