It is a bad thing. Look at what happens when a civil war starts in a modern state.

The Finnish civil resulted in a 10% population reduction. Syria is pretty much done, and the Balkans have yet to recover.

It would be the end of the USA no matter who won, and massive deaths on both sides. No to mention that power, water, and food distribution would end for much of the population.

It would not be fun. To many have visions of Red Dawn, and not reality. This goes for both sides.

Ideologically, the two Americans cannot live in the same country for much longer. There is nothing holding us together, no commonality of purpose, no culture or politics. Left and right are mutually exclusive.

They aren't going anywhere and we aren't going anywhere soon so it is cruel to both sides to continue this way; there must be a physical separation. A secession would work because then the two sides would have geographical place to migrate to with like minded politically aligned people.

THE STATUS QUO CAN'T GO ON MUCH LONGER.

Liberals would be at a distinct disadvantage. They don’t like guns and the conservatives are mostly armed and buying more ammo.
