That woman had style. I seem to recall seeing photos of women emulating her in hair style and clothing.
My mother even had a Channel suit like Jackie Kennedy’s, back in the day. I wish she kept it, I’d treasure it.

Looking “stylish” is a gift, I guess, but it’s not hard to look tidy and dignified, if you try at all. Michelle Obama often spends (what I consider) a lot of money on her clothes, but they don’t fit her, and the styles usually aren’t flattering.
I go to The Salvation Army on half-off day and find clothes that fit me and make me look nice, although with no pretensions to up-to-date fashion.
