Look at the education system in our country. More importantly, these immigrants are christians, who share our Judeo-Christian heritage. The situation in Europe is quite different. Angela Merkel in Germany welcomes hundreds of thousands of muslims to fill the job void left by over educated Germans who look down on menial labor. In another decade or two, Germany will become a muslim nation.

For sure...here in Kalifornia's Coachella Valley they are pretty much the blue/brown collar workforce, and do fine work.
Given local experience, however, we'd totally avoid any unsupervised in-home stuff, such as "cleaning lady"....it's quite apparent locally that 'Cousin Raul' gets tipped off after the home has been cased, and the homeowner's routine established.
Another little trick is that in our gated communties (of which there are tons), the trash collectors will stick something like a playing card into the side of a garage door.....if it's still unmoved by next trash pickup day, Cousin Raul gets another 'the coast is clear - they're still in Minnesota' phone call....
Nowadays, people have the option of welfare or disability to labor. Americans were doing those jobs before this country was flooded with illegals. Who in their right mind says they won't work for low wages and chooses instead NO wages? Nobody. They have an out and it's called a corrupt government.

Maybe you should take a ride out of upstate New York and visit my area of Florida, where they sell drugs and little girls, whom, yes, they often rape at highly disproportionate proportions. They, by far, commit the vast majority of all crime. Then their races are recorded as "white" because of laws that don't allow those recording the crime to use they own lying eyes. IOW, the criminal picks their own race.
They shut down main roads protesting for leftist and immigration causes wearing Che shirts. They overwhelm our public schools, healthcare and social services. Our hospital was on the verge of closing its trauma center because they ran out of money because illegals where swarming the ER. Our schools are failing because in part their kids come into them speaking no English and in part because thousands of new kids at the cost of thousands of dollars each causes the system to crash.
One lady I was taking a credit application from showed me THREE social security cards - the first two failed.

When I was in HS, kids who dropped out got jobs in construction, building fences, remodeling, landscaping etc. Many of them, after they learned enough went on to open their own businesses, like my brother who runs a plumbing business today. He started out as a helper. Nowadays, those jobs aren't available to teens any longer. The market has been wiped out by illegals standing around at Home Depot.
They are, for the most part some of the hardest working that I have ever seen.
More BS. Many, or most in the construction business, work slow and do shoddy work. My former home which was built using mostly Mexican crews was built like a PIECE OF S***. All the joint work was sloppy and wavy. I had hot water going to the toilet. MY window sills were angled down toward the window so that all the rain ran into the seams and rotted the sheathing underneath - the walls had to be ripped out to fix it. All this work was done by cheap illegal alien crews.
I could go on but the myth that illegals are such hard-working craftsmen who do jobs we won't/can't so is a LIE.
We did them in the past, and did a better job.

About 20 years ago, when I lived in Houston, a judge was warning that about a thousand crimes per month were committed by illegals circulating in and out of Mexico. I would assume the number has increased in twenty years.

There are no shortage of millennials who are doing hard labor for low wages. Marine and Army infantryman for instance. You can come to New England and still find most construction work done by natives, to include roofing, masonry, even farm work. Hard cases make bad law.
Just today I mentioned to someone how most of the illegal (and for that matter legal) folks from south of the border come from places an American would pay high dollar to live IF it had rule of law and property rights.
Once we get enough ground level petty corruption and wanton crime in place here, the numbers will probably slack off significantly...
