It has nothing to do with feelings or numbers.....in America we answer to the Constitution of the US...not the Pope, or the President, or a King.
Needless to say you can answer to whomever you want in your private life.

That being said, did you protest when Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress, since he's not an American politician? Did you lecture everyone about how he ONLY speaks for the Israeli government, and not Americans? And that most Americans are not Jewish and don't share his theological views? Were you upset that his comments to Congress addressed only foreign policy and said nothing about abortion and gay marriage, which is rampant in his country?
