Perhaps you should read this thread http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3340721/posts

Instead of making your (plural) demands of the Holy Father, consider no other Christian leader has done what you (plural) are demanding.

Also consider, he spoke to the Congress as a head of state.

I just posted the full text, ST. He does NOT mention abortion, selling baby parts, homosexual marriage, the persecution of Christians. He simply doesn’t.

And, boy-o-boy, it certainly is driving the Liberals crazy...especially the liberals of religion who deny the Catholic church is the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church.

Its sad to watch them as the seek in every way for the smallest justification that their liberal stance on Christianity be proven correct not by their thousand upon thousands of strayed errant churches or by their billions upon billions errant “personal” interpretations of scripture and dimwitted beliefs concocted in their own minds by their own spirits, but by none other than the Catholic Church’s authority itself. Where’s their authority?

And what’s truly promising at the same time is the fact that they’re still so insecure in their own stances...in their own half-baked doctrines, that the main focus of their so called “personal” relationship with Jesus is based on what the Pope of the Catholic church says and does, and not on what they say and do and believe. So, there is still promise and hope that others witnessing their weakness and floundering will see it for what it is and turn to the true authority on earth.
