I don't know much about the Bible, just what I glean here and the passages those two nice ladies who come by once a month read to me. So, anyone, correct me where my ignorance shows.
Doesn't the Bible say something about the separation of powers, Church and State? So how does the Pope get involved with the refugee issue without bringing up the need to obey the laws of nations?
Then there's the "Global Warming" stuff. There's religious doctrine about being good stewards of the earth, but is there anything there about global warming? And shouldn't the spokesman for the Church use quotes from Scripture and Church Doctrine to enrich his pronouncements?
Did be mention the slaughter of the pre-born and just-born and the selling of their body parts? Did he say anything about the pure evil of ISIS? Anything about how Christians should confront evil?
But I'm saved. It's warm today and I don't use air-conditioning. So I guess it's okay to invade some country, slaughter a pre-born child at birth, and behead a few dudes in the ME.
End of rant. Mygosh, am I disgusted.
My wife is Catholic and is depressed and disgusted with this Pope as politician, not a man of God. She is more a Catholic than this Pope!
