I dont see anything good happening in the immediate future. I havent wanted to criticize the pope, but its reached a point where he seems to be...Im not sure what. I've refrained in the past from criticizing him, but he flat out blew his chance yesterday. And if this is how he was in front of Congress, where he would have had significant support for condemning abortion and homosexuality, I shudder to think how deferential he probably was in private with Obama.

That's a good point. Obama certainly seemed unusually welcoming to him, which concerns me.
