I think I’d better be more specific. None of these statements is infallible because none deals with faith and morals, and none was ex cathedra.
I could, if I had an audience with the Holy Father, say to him, “Your position on climate change is not just blazingly stupid, it is evil.” And walk out of the audience as good a Catholic as any man, mutatis mutandis.
