Stampede during the stoning the devil ritual? Probably the devil was throwing the stones back at the people doing the stoning. A person throwing a stone is like slopitch softball. The devil returns like a Nolan Ryan fastball. No wonder they ran and had problems. I imagine Big Red hangs out around Mecca alot.
