Washington State Fair is one of the few locations in the State that bans the legal carry of firearms. That policy is directly stated in the rules for the fair. From thefair.com:
The following items will not be allowed at the Washington State Fair,
Weapons of any kind, including knives and all firearms
The effect of creating a weapons free zone was not lost on a group of criminals. They used the fact that fair workers were known to be disarmed to their advantage. Three different armed robberies of State Fair workers were committed in less than 20 minutes, on the 15th of September, Sunday night, shortly after the Fair closed. From komonews.com:

I can’t even hardly comment on this stuff anymore. Politicians can’t— even they— can’t be this stupid to believe criminals will obey “no guns” signs. Can’t be. There has to be something more sinister at work.
Reports will have been submitted, assessments done and the fair organizers will not have learned a damn thing.
Nobody told the criminals that there was a law. So lets make a new law that criminalizes the poor souls that failed to tell the criminals that guns were banned. Throw the newly criminalized people in jail. Problem solved!
Actually, they certainly knew there was a law - and took advantage of that fact!

The Salvation Army in Manasass, VA recently banned firearms. That town is the center of MS-13 in NOVA. They hired a security guard a couple of years ago, and now they don’t allow CHP holders to carry there.
Magical thinking example.
The only surprising thing about this story is that things like this don’t happen more often.
I suspect they happen a lot. I suspect more robberies occur where there are no guns allowed than the reverse. Could be wrong, but too tired to check.
However, Lott’s “More guns = less crime” was a good study.
Washington State and its Marxist/leftist leaders are the decent citizens’ worst enemies, not the criminals. The criminals only take advantage of the opportunities the Lefties give them.
Perhaps there will be a voting change next year, esp. if someone on the Left gets killed by an armed criminal in a “No Gun Zone”.
So, the next voting year will change, if a lefty “who’s who” gets killed? C’mon, MadMax, the Grinning Reaper. Well, perhaps you are right. Washington State is on the cusp of political change.
Look what happened when Katie Steinle was killed. People put her photo (with the beautiful smile) all over the place, deluged the S.F. commie council/mayor with demands for action, and showed how racist Obama is when he didn’t even mention her killing while kissing the asses of black thugs and charlatans.
For once, a “white” woman became the catalyst for action against criminal illegal previously deported aliens.
Blacks are using this tactic when young children, esp. girls, get shot down in their beds and on their porches. It works, and deservedly so.
Innocent lives matter!
Unfortunately, where Democrats/liberals/leftists/commies rule, it takes a death, or many deaths, before anything serious is done to stop the criminals, and often it is watered down like a cheap drink before it happens.
Seattle is the perfect place on which to try out a Neutron Bomb. Would solve the commie, liberals, leftists, druggies problems, fur shure!

However, the gun shows are pretty strict. I can’t remember if they allow concealed carry or not. I’m guessing that they do. However, if you are bringing in a gun to sell they inspect it to make sure it is not loaded.
BTW - the worst that can happen at a private place of business (I’m guessing the state fair is one) that doesn’t allow conceal carry in Washington is that they discover it and then ask you to leave. If you raise a fuss and don’t leave, then they can get you on trespassing.
Carrying in a bar, school, or courthouse carries a much stiffer penalty.
The Seattle downtown area, like San Francisco, was beautiful in the 50’s through the early 70’s. Where we are now observing, an entirely different consciousness. Your idea that another “white woman’s death” will matter to anyone in the bay area, even, two weeks from now, is a sad commentary on how far our culture has digressed from even, the hobo/beatnik outlook of fair is fair.
Maybe it does, but the liberal media do not want us to know about it.
