You bet we average American citizens see Trump as a warrior for our cause. When he announced he was ‘in’ just before Independence Day, I was skeptical only due to the fact he had done this before but pulled out. That he is actually still standing has become THE WALL against a certainty of loosing our country and possibly saving a portion of the remaining wreckage to attempt a Bright and Shining America once again. My spirits were lifted this Independence day and it was felt we just might have a chance of survival. Sorry, but the GOPe is nothing more than a brand-less group of brainless liberals. It’s US against the Wash cartel.

She didn’t even mention the illegals who have become squatters in the GOP’s squalid 11-story tear down.

Thanks, we must not lose all hope. With a powerful warrior we do stand a chance...no matter he be ‘thin skin’ or not :)

This and prayers are all we own to use as tools. We learn from MacGyver... “we work with what we’ve got”

A guy who is thin-skinned wouldn't wear orange hair and poke fun at himself.

I think his thin-skinned thing is an act.

He obliquely pokes at people until they attack...and then he attacks at their weakest point.

Trump knows Snarly's weak point is her dour and selfish personality (which she knows is visible in her face)...so he picks at her face.

Trump knew that Perry's weak point was demonstrated in the last election debates when he forget his lines. Therefore Trump targets his intellect/mind/memory.

Jeb Bush is a low-charisma wonk...so hit him on "low energy."

Rubio must know he appears too young, so hit him there.

Trump isn't thin-skinned (you can't do business in NYC for 35+ years and be thin-skinned--fuggedaboutit). That said, he can act like he is thin-skinned when fighting back.

It accomplishes three things.

First, it gives him the opportunity to fight back. "I was hit first!"

Second, he gets to expose the personality of his opponent--knowing full-well that the opponent, being a politician, has taken great effort to hide his personality.

Third, it permits Trump to push a deceptive guise in front of his enemies (as Sun Tzu said, war is deception). Trump leads them to believe that he is thin-skinned. He isn't.

Trump is playing his opponents just like he is playing the media.

He has flummoxed them all (but his supporters see him for what he is).

Trump is using strategy and the rest of the candidates are scrambling to figure out what it is.

Cruz figured it out early. Trump might have even told him.

Trump is gonna win this thing and he knows it.

This is so much easier than building the Grand Hyatt at Grand Central Station and is so much easier that building Trump Tower.

He's gonna win.

I agree. Unless he commits an unforced error Trump wins.

In a week that is the Pope 24/7 Trump has kept himself in the headines by picking a fight with Roger Ailles and now he can sit back and tweet about it until next week. Then he can go on every talkshow and brag about how Ailles tried to screw him and had to crawl to Trump for a make up. LOL!

Heheh. Trump has already committed every unforced error imaginable...and somehow knew it wouldn't matter.

He knows Americans are fed up with political correctness, so his unforced errors are all converted to assets re: his authenticity.

He has figured out national politics as he did NYC real estate.

Trump is now teflon.

He knows he has a good heart and if he misspeaks, he can repair the damage and keep moving forward.

As Trump has said "this is a movement."

Oh they get it alright. They just have to pretend it doesn’t exist because if it does, then they are no longer viable as “journalists”.

I wasn’t even planning to vote this time.

That is how disillusioned I was until Trump became an option.

From the way things have been playing out we get shafted no matter who we vote for.

I’m once again hoping the whole mess isn’t completely rigged against us.

Thin skin? I don’t doubt you.

Win? He has the best chance to do so. Without him, we are finished as a nation.

Go!! Trump/Cruz
