Carson wasn’t asked to defend Trump’s right to run for POTUS.
Carson asked whether a Muslim could, or should be allowed to run for POTUS.
He simply answered the question more competently than Trump. That doesn’t make him part of a GOPe conspiracy against Trump.
Trump mumbles contradictions —Muslims are a problem! We’re looking into it! Of course Muslims can run for POTUS! I love Muslims! Then he says it’s Obama’s job to defend Obama.
Response? Hooray!! Brilliant! He really socks it to those bastards! Trump’s the only one who stands up for what he believes!
Carson answers the issue question, by addressing the issue. Shariah is not compatible with the Constitution. We don’t allow theocracies here. Boom.
Response? Boo! Hiss! Somebody put him up to that! Carson shouldnt even be running for POTUS anyway! Who does this guy think he is? Why isn’t he defending Trump?
The weird logic astounds and frightens me.
