Jesus told someone that to follow him he should sell all his possessions. From what I remember, the guy wasn’t too happy about it.
He also said something about what good is it having everything and losing your soul.
I’m not selling everything I own, but I try to be a good person.
The Pope kinda has to relate Jesus’ message, I guess.
