What is the most efficient way to elevate people from poverty?

Not socialism
Not even charity.
It is capitalism.

Sure there are inequalities. Sure there still is poverty. But it offers opportunity, and opportunity is the best weapon against being poor. Jesus requires that we treat other human beings as if they were our brothers. I don't think he expected them to become leeches.

You are right. Man was made to hope and strive, when you cannot do that, your soul is dead. That’s what communism offers.

Even Jesus worked as a carpenter at one point.

I’m Catholic and dont like seeing the Pope push environmentalism and socialism.
